Tahj Tate, a 6’3 185lb 2010 SG, is a high level offensive threat. Very athletic, handles the rock and can score very effectively from all three level of the floor. If he would buckle down defensively and his academic situation pan out, he would be no brainer for the high major level. Tate dropped 35 in the loss including proving to be a threat from 25+ feet while also showing floaters and high flying dunks in his arsenal.
Chris Lightner, is an athletic 6’3 SF/SG Post Grad, that score well at the basket on attack mode and has an inconsistent outside shot. He has played juco ball so it will be interesting to see how his situation pans out. He also had a small stint on the AND1 tour a few summers ago. Lightner is a son of Chris Washburn. He had 38 in the loss.
John Yon, is a 5’11 2010 SG, shot the ball at a high level and was one of the few player who played within his abilities. Yon can play the point in a pinch. He finished with 16.
Steffan Stayonavich, a 6’8 2010 PF, showed a bit of potential. He knocked down a 17 footer and showed a nice back to the basket move. The open nature of prep school ball does not seem to fit his abilities but he definitely looks like he has potential to be a good system player at the next level.
Jemeer Wilkins, a 5’8 combo guard, is a true high school senior from an area high school. He will likely attend Charis Prep next and become a full time PG will be crucial for his development. As it stands now, he shoots it well and scores well around the basket.
Trevor Berkley, a 6’7 2011 PF, rebounds the ball at a high level on both ends, has a solid set of paws and can step out and shoot comfortably to 19 feet. He could get use some time in the weight room but he projects as a sure fire mid major player with a chance to go higher.
Mike Stephenson, is a 6’3 2012 slasher, with a quick first step and a knack for getting to the cup and finishing around the rim. The southpaw has a chance to be special once he showcases his outside game.
Tevin Whitsett, a 6’2 2010 SG, is long, athletic and fast. He finishes well in transition and has excellent speed and a good build. Would love to see him transition to the point where he could reach his maximum potential.
Christian Rhode, a 6’5 wing, has the exact build and body type of Duke 2011 commit Michael Gbinijie. However he is lacking the understanding and savvy of a player as Gbinijie. He does handle the ball fairly well and has an average shot but he tends to float on the perimeter where he proved to be ineffective. He is a D1 prospect and if he does put the work in at the next level, he will have a chance to help out whatever school lands him.
Antonin Galaya, a 6’5 2010 SG, did not play to the level he has played at all year according to his prep school coach. How he did show savvy and high intelligence on the court. Galaya finished 2/7 from the three but he came through in the clutch. Down two with 6.9 seconds on the clock, Galaya coolly collected the ball, hoisted a beautiful shot and drilled it with the foul. He then missed the free throw but picked up the player who rebounded the ball and forced him out of bounds before the half court line which led to Charis Prep vying for their third National Prep Championship in three years.
Denzel Myers, a smaller but well built 2010 PG, played at a high level. The former 5’11 Fordham commit is a very quick guard that is an excellent passer and finishes in the lane at a high level with floaters, short pull ups and in traffic.
Lamont Prosser, a 6’8 2010 PF, is a very aggressive big that takes up a lot of space while showing a solid face up game. He blocked at least 4 shots included one where he recovered it and took it end to end for the lay in. Prosser will be a coveted big once his 2 years of JuCo expire. High Level JuCo Player.
Antar Johnson, a 6’2 2010 SG is an excellent shooter with D1 capability for a program needing a guy to fill that role.
Isaiah Massey, a 6’7 2010 PF, is a former 2009 Alabama A&M signee. He has excellent bounce and is very aggressive offensivevly while also showing perimeter skills and a knack for hoarding rebounds.
Drimir Ferguson, a 5’9 2010 PG, is a quick guard that can wreak havoc in the lane with his lead guard mindset.
Michael Anderson is an aggressive wing with bounce and good scoring abilities.
Christian Faith Center
CFC had a trio of talented players. Chris Hill's academic situation will be a puzzle for his desired college coach to piece together, but if he is able to get it together he will have the opportunity to help a D1 program with his natural gifts of size, length and elite athleticism for a wing. This was his first time playing with CFC, as he seemed to be a bit timid in being the go-to guy as he was with his old prep school. Braedon Anderson, a 6’8 2011 PF, is a high level big and Kevin Thomas, a 6’8 2011 WF, has oodles of potential.
Darius Leonard, 6’8 2010 PF, is a raw run jump athlete with good bounce and potential. Travion Leonard, a 6’8 2011 PF, is another big body for D1’s to monitor.
